The LTC5592 is a family of dual-channel, high-dynamic range, high-gain downconversion mixers covering the 600MHz to 4.5GHz RF frequency range. The LTC5592 is optimized for 1.6GHz to 2.7GHz RF applications. For optimal performance, the local oscillator frequency must be in the 1.5GHz to 2.5GHz range. A typical application is an LTE or WiMAX receiver with a 2.3GHz to 2.7GHz RF input and a low-side local oscillator.

The LTC5592’s high conversion gain and high dynamic range enable the use of lossy IF filters in highly selective receiver designs while minimizing overall solution cost, board space, and system-level changes. A low-current mode is provided to further save power, and each mixer channel has independent shutdown control.
