The ADXRS453 is an angular rate sensor (gyroscope) designed for robust applications in industrial, instrumentation, and high-vibration environments. Its advanced differential quad-sensor design suppresses the effects of linear acceleration, enabling high-accuracy rate detection in harsh shock and vibration environments. It can detect angular rates up to ±300°/s. Angular rate data is provided as a 16-bit word as part of a 32-bit SPI message. It is available in a 16-pin, cavity-molded SOIC (SOIC_CAV) and an SMT-compatible vertical mount package (LCC_V), and operates over a wide voltage range of 3.3V to 5V.
