Product Overview The LT8636/LT8637 synchronous buck regulators utilize a Silent Switcher architecture designed to minimize EMI radiation while achieving high efficiency at high switching frequencies. Peak current-mode control with a minimum on-time of 30ns enables a high buck ratio even at high switching frequencies. With fully regulated output, the LT8636 boasts an ultra-low quiescent current of only 2.5µA, making it suitable for applications requiring maximum efficiency at minimal load currents. The LT8637 features external compensation for current sharing and fast transient response at high switching frequencies. The CLKOUT pin allows synchronization with other regulators alongside the LT8636/LT8637. Burst Mode operation enables ultra-low standby current consumption, forced continuous mode controls frequency harmonics across the entire output load range, and spread-spectrum operation further reduces EMI radiation. Soft-start and tracking functionality are enabled via the TR/SS pins, and a precise input voltage undervoltage lockout (UVLO) threshold can be set using the EN/UV pins.
